7verse Technologies, Inc. (hereinafter referred to as "the Platform", "we", "us", or "7verse") is dedicated to safeguarding your privacy and personal data. This Privacy Policy aims to help you understand what information we collect, how we use it, how we protect it, and the rights you hold regarding your data, whether as a Creator or a User.
Please read this Privacy Policy carefully and in its entirety. By accessing or using any part of 7verse (the “Services”), you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with our practices described herein, please do not use our services. Where required by applicable law, we will obtain your explicit consent before collecting or processing certain categories of personal data (such as biometric data or voice recordings).
If you are under 14 years old, do not meet the age requirements for using or accessing the Services in your jurisdiction, or if there are other legal restrictions applicable to your user status, please comply with local laws by either refraining from using the Services or reviewing this Privacy Policy under the supervision of your legal guardian (“Guardian”). You should only access or use the Services after obtaining your Guardian’s consent as required by applicable law. If you are a parent or Guardian and become aware that your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately. Should we learn that personal data has been collected from anyone under 14 years old (or the applicable legal age) without verified Guardian consent, we will promptly take measures to delete such data from our servers.
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom or Switzerland (collectively, the “EEA+” areas), the United States, please also read carefully and fully and consent to the EEA+ Addendum, the US Addendum to this Privacy Policy respectively.
- Information We Collect
Depending on how you use 7verse (creating Content as a Creator, or experiencing Content as a User), we collect different types of information.
1.1 Information You Provide
- Account Information: When you register for an account, we collect your username, password, email address, date of birth (for age verification), and profile picture.
- Creator Content: When you build Content as a Creator, we collect and store the images you upload, the Prompts you write, character scripts, scene descriptions, and plot logic configurations. Please note: While we store this data to maintain service operations, according to our Terms of Service, the copyright of these creative assets belongs to you.
- User-Generated Media (Camera & Audio):
- Camera Data: When you use features like "Create Character from Photo" or "Character customization", we access your device's camera to capture images. We may process facial features to generate stylized AI characters, but only the resulting stylized image and the original photo you uploaded are retained (unless you delete them), as stipulated in Clause 1.3 hereof.
- Voice Data: When you use the voice chat or "Clone Voice" features of the Product, we will collect and process your audio recordings only for the purposes of performing automatic speech recognition (ASR), generating AI interactive responses matching the aforesaid feature scenarios, and cloning your voice to create a digital character for you. Voice data is stored securely and not used for identification outside these features.
- Photo Data for AI Character Creation: When you use the "Create Character from Photo" feature, we collect the photographs you upload or capture via your device camera. These images are transmitted to our servers and processed by our AI models to extract facial geometry and visual attributes for the purpose of generating a stylized AI character. The original photo and the resulting AI-generated character image are retained on our servers until you choose to delete them or your account is terminated. We do not use your photographs for any purpose other than the character creation feature you have initiated, and we do not share unprocessed photographs with any third party except as necessary for the AI processing described in Section 4.
- Voice Data for AI Character Creation: When you use the "Clone Voice" feature, we collect your voice recordings and transmit them to our third-party voice synthesis partner, ElevenLabs, Inc., for the purpose of creating a digital voice clone. These voice recordings may constitute biometric data under certain jurisdictions (including but not limited to Illinois, Texas, and Washington in the United States). By using the Clone Voice feature, you provide your explicit, informed consent to the collection, processing, and third-party transmission of your voice data for this purpose. You may withdraw this consent at any time by discontinuing use of the feature and requesting deletion of your voice data through in-app settings or by contacting us at [email protected]. See Section 4 for further details on third-party data sharing.
- Interaction Content (User Interactions): When you experience a Content (e.g., chatting with AI characters, playing interactive games, completing plot tasks), we collect your chat logs, choice branches, interaction behaviors, input text, and voice data. The personalized content generated during your interactions belongs to you.
- Whenyou use the Services in health, financial, legal, or other specialty-related scenarios, we may collect health-related information, financial information or other information you voluntarily input. Based on your input, we generate responses, answers and consultation summaries or reports (which do not constitute medical, financial, legal or other professional advice) for your reference.
- **When you issue a search request during a conversation with AI, we will automatically receive the information you actively input to provide you with real-time search results. For example, when you ask us about nearby locations, in order to answer your question, we may collect your precise geographical location. This geographical location may include precise location information obtained through GPS sensors, WLAN access points, Bluetooth, and base station sensors.**We only collect your precise geographical location when you have a clear need to find nearby locations or provide other location based services. Precise geographical location information is sensitive personal data. If you refuse to provide it, we will not recommend the nearby location-related information or provide other location based services based on the geographical location obtained through GPS sensors, but this will not affect the normal use of other functions we provide. We will only display content or services that may be relevant to you based on the district-level geographical location obtained through network location information (such as base stations, IP addresses, and WLAN).
- If the Content you input or submit includes personal data relating to any other individual, you are responsible for ensuring that you have obtained all necessary legal authorizations or consents before providing such data. This is to prevent the unauthorized or inappropriate disclosure of others’ personal information.
- In order to maintain and enhance the performance and quality of the services, we may utilize the Content you submit and the corresponding output to optimize our services. Such use will be conducted only after the information has been securely encrypted, thoroughly de-identified, and rendered incapable of being re-associated with any specific individual. If you do not wish for your personal data to be processed in this manner, you may opt out by contacting us through the channels specified in Section 11of this Privacy Policy.
- Chat History & Context: We store the full history of your conversations with AI personas, including text, voice, and interactive choices, to maintain long-term memory and context for your digital companions.
- Customer Support:When you submit feedback to us, we will collect information such as your description of the issue, any attached supporting materials, your email address, and the name of the contact person, to understand the nature of your feedback and your specific needs. This information is necessary to provide the feedback-related services. We may use your email address or other contact details to verify your identity, clarify your concerns, provide relevant support, and help resolve any issues you encounter. To assist with feedback related to your use of the Services, we may access your usage data, including conversation history, content you have liked, and past feedback submissions. If you contact us directly using the methods outlined in Section 11 of this Privacy Policy to submit feedback, complaints, appeals, or inquiries, you will be required to provide your account information for user identity verification. This verification is necessary to process your request. During the course of feedback, complaint, or consultation, you may be asked to provide additional supporting materials, and the system may log communications between you and our team. These records help us address your concerns effectively and enhance the quality of our services.
- You acknowledge and agree that we may use the contact information you provide (such as your email address) to send you various notifications related to the operation of the Services. These may include messages for identity or security verification, user updates, experience research, and dispute resolution. We may also send you promotional information about our services, features, or events via the contact details you’ve provided. If you prefer not to receive such promotional messages, you may unsubscribe using the method included in the message or contact us directly to opt out.
1.2 Automatically Collected Information
To protect your account security and improve our service quality, we will automatically collect certain information generated during your use of the Services:
- Usage Data: Includes which Contents you viewed, interaction duration, game progress, clickstream data, etc.
- Device Information: Device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers (e.g., IDFA/AAID), IP address, browser type, etc.
